When Veluzat brothers, Renaud and Andre, began the
reconstruction process at Melody Ranch they paid careful attention to
detail. Gathering photos of the original Main Street, they began
recreating the original posts along the
boardwalks,
imitating the exact height and width of the original
saloon
and storefront doorways. The Veluzats purchased 74 truck loads of
Western doors, windows, bars, and swinging saloon doors from another
studio that was doing their spring
cleaning. "This contributed greatly to our ability to complete the
restoration," explains Renaud. "We have over 65 storefront's
some of them with permanent interiors, such as the
church,
hotels,
bank,
and jailhouse. The Town can be signed
and dressed to meet any filming company needs, we also have many
props
available for rent to help dress a set if desired".
